DESCRIPTION:The Geological Society of Trinidad and Tobago (GSTT) will be hosting its 7th Geological Conference from July 10th to 13th 2022 under the theme Geoscience of the Future: Adapt\, Innovate\, Evolve.  \nA major objective of this conference is to examine the changing landscapes for resources\, energy and technology through a series of technical sessions\, feature speeches and panel discussions. To this end\, the Geological Society invites you to participate in a panel discussion entitled “Climate change and its impact on small island developing states” alongside other leading professionals in the field of climate change and renewable energy agenda. The panel discussion is intended to provide a platform for your policy position on this topic given that you are a recognized leader in the field.  Please see the attached letter for specific details. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission and the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) are delighted to invite you to attend in person at the CEO Breakfast that will take place at Harbor Club Hotel\, Gros Islet – Saint Lucia on 11 July 2022 beginning at 8:15 am AST. \nThis hybrid event will be delivered under the theme “Re- Imagining the OECS: Discover Opportunities and Innovate Forward”. Within the context of this theme\, issues around localization\, positioning the OECS as a global innovation hub\, and monetizing the Orange Economy will be discussed. \nThe OECS-USAID CEO Breakfast creates a space that brings together the region’s innovators (Private Sector)\, international voices\, and partners for development to engage in dialogue related to co-creating and scaling sustainable solutions geared toward development challenges.
