SUMMARY:Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Week 2022
DESCRIPTION:LACCW 2022 will be held from 18-22 July in Santo Domingo\, Dominican Republic. IMPORTANT: Pre-registration via the online platform ends on Thursday\, 14 July at 6:00 pm local time in Santo Domingo. Registration will reopen following the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday\, 19 July\, to allow for on-site registration. \nThe Week will engage and empower stakeholders to drive climate action across countries\, communities and economies. Working together opens opportunity to advance climate action\, address social inequalities and invest in development that is good for humanity and nature. LACCW 2022 is a collaboration platform to explore: \n\nResilience against climate risks\nThe transition to a low-emission economy\nPartnerships to solve pressing challenges\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLACCW 2022 is hosted by the Government of the Dominican Republic. The event is organized by UN Climate Change in collaboration with global partners UN Development Programme\, UN Environment Programme and the World Bank Group.
