Our engagement will center on sustainable ecosystem management strategies specifically tailored to the Caribbean region.\nSeptember 29 – October 2\, 2024: USAID Caribbean Sustainable Ecosystems\nLocation: Kingston\, Jamaica: At the subsequent USAID Caribbean Sustainable Ecosystems event in Kingston\, Jamaica\, CCSA will tbe moderating a panel on climate finance. This session will facilitate an in-depth dialogue with regional stakeholders to tackle the current challenges and explore opportunities within climate finance.\n\nThis partnership with PADF underscores our commitment to driving impactful solutions for the region’s environmental and financial resilience.

DESCRIPTION:On behalf of Blue Planet Alliance\, the Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator\, and our partners\, we are thrilled to extend a special invitation to join our Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship Program. This exclusive program will take place in Honolulu\, Hawaii\, from October 6-11\, 2024\, and is offered with all expenses covered. \nThe week-long Fellowship is designed for island leaders globally who are dedicated to transitioning their home islands from fossil fuels to a 100% renewable energy future. Inspired by Hawaii’s landmark legislation in 2015 to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2045\, this program aims to share valuable insights and strategies that have been instrumental in Hawaii’s progress.
