DESCRIPTION:UN Climate Change Conference – COP 30\n📅 10–21 November 2025 | 📍 Belém\, Brazil \nThe 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP 30) will be a pivotal moment for global climate action\, bringing together world leaders\, policymakers\, scientists\, and civil society to advance the goals of the Paris Agreement and accelerate climate solutions. Taking place in Belém\, Brazil\, COP 30 will focus on critical negotiations around climate finance\, emissions reductions\, adaptation\, and resilience. \nThis conference will include: \n\nCOP 30 – the 30th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC\nCMP 20 – the 20th meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol\nCMA 7 – the 7th meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement\nSBSTA 63 & SBI 63 – sessions addressing scientific\, technological\, and implementation aspects of climate policy\n\nThe Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator (CCSA) will be at COP 30 advocating for increased support\, investment\, and policy commitments that address the unique challenges of Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Our key priorities include: \n\nAdvocating for Climate Finance: Securing commitments for loss and damage funding\, adaptation finance\, and concessional investment to accelerate climate resilience across the Caribbean.\nShowcasing the Climate Smart Map: Demonstrating how data-driven insights can support climate adaptation\, risk assessment\, and investment decision-making.\nScaling Public-Private Partnerships: Engaging with governments\, financial institutions\, and private sector leaders to mobilize resources for climate-smart initiatives.\nEnsuring SIDS Representation: Amplifying the Caribbean’s voice in negotiations to ensure that SIDS priorities are reflected in global climate agreements.\n\nJoin us in Belém\, Brazil\, as we work to drive bold action\, unlock climate finance\, and strengthen Caribbean resilience at COP 30.
