We need to see a ground swell in developing growth industries such as the Lithium sector with gender parity to ensure that women play a pivotal role in emerging growth sectors

Be a renegade, do the right thing. The changes that we need to see in the world will take leadership and renegades, and as women in mining you’re already outliers, you were created for this role.

There must be a move by women across the globe to take up more non-traditional roles and roles which will place them at the centre of leadership. We must look at the systems that need to change within our communities, then boldly take the steps to make these changes. It will not just empower today’s women, but also empower the next generation of young women for the future.
